Preston joined M2 Landscape Architecture in 2015, providing a variety of experience in urban design, sustainable community development, and open space master planning for commercial and public realm projects across Western Canada.

Dynamic and innovative, Preston is responsible for conceptual design and drafting, in addition to on-site field reviews and construction administration for multi-residential and public recreational projects at M2. He has a strong interest in project management and focuses on thorough communication with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain consistent relationships throughout every stage of development.

Preston was previously a landscape technician at IBI Group and a parks designer in Burnaby following graduation from the Landscape Architectural Technology program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Since then, he has also received a graduate certificate in Urban Design from Simon Fraser University, as well as completing programs in Golf Course Design at the Golf Management Institute of Canada and visual rendering and 3D modeling at Gaia College.

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Preston relocated to the west coast in 2012 and enjoys his life away from the office playing baseball, golf, and traveling to experience landscapes around the world.
