Thomas graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and from the Victoria College of Art with an Associateship degree in drawing, painting, and design. He founded the Landscape design programme at Langara College and acted as its principal instructor.
For approximately 18 years Thomas has designed and functioned as project coordinator for a wide variety of projects including large residential estates, public plazas, multi residential developments and wetland reclamation.
He has worked with architects, clients and designers in several cities including Los Angeles, Tel-Aviv, Vancouver and New York. His work is published in several design magazines and has received best design awards five years running from the leading design website HOUZZ.
Thomas joined the dynamic group at M2 Landscape Architecture in 2012 and brings his design experience and project management skills to a wide variety of over 200 projects in the company. From concept to completion, he keeps a tight eye on successfully navigating the diverse and ever-evolving city requirements while maintaining project quality and design integrity. He strongly values clear communication with stakeholders and consultants as an important ingredient to the ultimate success of each project. Thomas is passionate about design and brings this energy to every project.
When he’s not working, he spends as much time as possible laughing with family and children, visiting with friends, playing with puppies, going to art galleries and singing in the shower every morning before work.
